Communication is the art of conveying meaning and information accurately between people who make sense of the world in their own ways.

Everyone has different knowledge and life experiences. We all use (slightly) different vocabulary. Even when two people use the same word, the word may have different meanings to them both.

This means you need to be clear what you want to communicate, why you are communicating and how to present the information in way that helps the other person understand your meaning.

To do this, you need to be able to think yourself into the other person's way of making sense of the world.
